Purpose
A primary goal of Ubi Québec Unite is to empower the employees of Ubisoft Québec to improve our working conditions, push back against systems of oppression, and build a more equitable work environment for everyone. This code of conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our community, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
We invite all those who participate in Ubi Québec Unite activities to help us create safe and positive experiences for everyone.
Expected Behaviour
The following behaviors are expected and requested of everyone:
In general, try to assume good faith and exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions. We have a diverse collection of experiences and history within Ubisoft and the larger video game indstury. Everyone should be able to expect to be shown respect, and is expected to show respect to others.
Everyone is expected to behave in a manner to create an inclusive environment to allow for different viewpoints to be expressed.
Unacceptable Behaviour
Any behaviour that would generally be unacceptable in the workplace, would most likely be unacceptable within this community.
Some specific behaviours that are unnacceptable, which may not be exhaustive and updated in the future, includes:

Posting or displaying sexually explicit or violent material.

Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information (“doxing”) or expose their participation in Ubi Québec Unite.
This includes posting material that is not anonymized properly without consent.
Consequences for Unacceptable Behaviour
Unacceptable behavior from any community member, including sponsors and those with decision-making authority, will not be tolerated.
Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
As our community grows, a specific enumeration of the consequences will be created.
